Laetitia Frances Dibdin
Letitia ("Lettie") was a mezzo soprano with the Carl Rosa Opera Co. She married, late in life, Thomas Frewin, their conductor. Earlier she had taken training in midwifery and worked at the Middlesex Hospital. She did wonders during the blitz, delivering babies in air raid shelters, etc. She was the family "maiden aunt" and used to visit each branch in turn and keep everyone abreast with what everyone else was doing.
